Julia is responsible for the conception, the organization and for the hosting of new cultural projects. She loves to network with other people, attends many different cultural events and always finds new inspiration.

Vita:

Julia Kosegarten was born near Hamburg in 1987. After graduating from high school in 2006, she studied opera singing and cultural management at the Mozarteum University of Music and Performing Arts in Salzburg. She then worked for various music promoters and gained important experience in the organization of classical concerts.

In 2014, Julia received a scholarship from the Nationaltheater Mannheim and was invited to take part in seminars and discussion panels on cultural management.

Afterwards she spent several months in New York City with a focus on fine arts. Julia also explored the question of how concert formats can be combined with other artistic fields in a new and modern way.

Back from New York City she worked as a culture manager for an artist's studio until she founded her own company in 2018 and organized the exhibition #lichtunddrama as part of the Salzburg Easter Festival as her first project.

In 2019, she moved to Vienna and planned the next cultural events there, including with members of the Vienna State Opera at the renowned Galerie Wienerroither & Kohlbacher.

To give the projects a secure legal framework, Julia founded the entrepreneurial company COCO MUSIC & ART in Berlin in 2020, where she has also had her private residence ever since.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, all cultural events had to be stopped from spring 2020. After working in the management of a Berlin film and television production company with a focus on culture & science, Julia Kosegarten is now working again as managing director of COCO MUSIC & ART and is planning new projects together with various cooperation partners.
