Recital Maria Nazarova
Information about the concert planned for 2020:
The soprano Maria Nazarova, ensemble member of the Vienna State Opera, will give a concert on the 31st of January 2020 at the Palais Schönborn - Batthyány of the renowned gallery Wienerroither & Kohlbacher.
In addition to dreamy songs by Richard Strauss, Clara Schumann, Claude Debussy and Sergei Rachmaninov, Spanish songs and Zarzuelas will be heard as fiery contrasts.
"Connected in all eternity" is a quote from the opera "Der Rosenkavalier" by Richard Strauss and is also the program title of this special concert.
The music and the visual arts will be experienced side by side as well as together, inviting the visitor to discover connections as well as contrasts.
During the evening, works by the visual artist Andreas Reiter Raabe will be on display.
His works speak out of the knowledge of gestures of abstraction, the unconscious surrealist automatism and the tension between planning, coincidence and intuition.
The exhibition will be on display from the 4th of December 2019 to the 14th of February 2020 in the W & K - Palais Schönborn -Batthyány.
